Grace and Peace to you!

I’m a lifelong United Methodist, and I believe that the Christian life is a constant learning and growing process. A community of faith like this one is the perfect place to get to know God, your neighbor, and yourself! In my own faith journey I’ve come a long way to where I am now with my understanding of what God calls Christians to do and be in today’s complicated world. Put simply, we’re called to love God, love our neighbor as ourselves, and care for creation.
My family and I are nature enthusiasts! My wife Julia and I enjoy hiking, camping, horseback riding, kayaking, biking whitewater rafting, etc. We’ve also gotten into gardening, cooking, and home preserving.
It’s easy to see the love of God in nature, so I love to find ways to get our church outdoors as often as possible.
I also love to make music! I play guitar, mandolin, ukelele, harmonica, and Julia plays the djembe. I find that sacred music has an incredible ability to bind a worshipping community together so that our songs match who we are seeking to be as Christians today in our local and world community.
God Bless!
